CLASSES ARE ALL DROP-IN (no pre-registration necessary) EXCEPT WHERE NOTED AS SERIES ( pre-registration necessary). Always come a few minutes early to be ready for class - especially if you are new! .

Yoga classes at Harmony Yoga + Wellness are taught with a strong emphasis on principles of alignment with respect for each individual and individual differences. Harmony instructors take the time to keep you safe and allow for greater opening, strengthening, and expansion. Harmony upper-level classes encourage you to expand your horizons safely and provide challenges physically and mentally. We are here to help you allow your poses to sing and soar! Find your own personal "groove" and move to the beat of your inner "rhythm" in all of our yoga and dance classes.

YOGA 101: Absolute Beginner
This is the place to start! This four week series class contains thorough explanations and guidance about moving your body in new ways. Class moves slowly enough to learn each pose well by taking time to really get in the pose. This is a great place for beginners and self-ascribed "Yoga Nerds" who want to really learn or review poses. You will love this series class !!
Level 1
Designed to keep you going on the path. Classes contain great information and instruction about poses, movement, stretches, breathwork and meditation. This class is perfect for beginners as well as continuing students. Some vinyasa flow is incorporated in class.
Level 1 / 2 Mixed
Experience the fun and excitement of building and expanding your yoga practice. You will be carefully and thoughtfully guided into deeper, more expressive and expansive poses in an exhilarating class atmosphere. More VInyasa flow is used in much of class.
Level 2
"Let's Play" Enjoy a more informal tone and more advanced poses and breathwork in this teacher-led practice. Yoga experience necessary. Much vinyasa flow may be used through class.
Yoga Movement and Meditation
During yoga movement and guided mediation, we invite students to slow down and connect to that which is greater than just our physical attributes. The first 30 minutes of class will be dedicated to introducing a theme or concept for primary focus, balancing the breathe, and holding some gentle asana (postures)to quiet the mind and prepare for guided meditation. The second half of class, we will settle the breath, let go of ego, and use guided imagery/breathing to access the parasympathetic nervous system.This is the perfect class to begin or enhance a personal meditaion practice.
Restorative with Slow Flow
Relax, refresh and enjoy. This class incorporates supported poses with long holds to really get down deep to stretch you out. Class begins with some gentle moving poses and moves towards supported restorative poses to stretch the fascia (connective tissue) and calm the mind.
Gentle Yoga
Stretch, Breathe and Calm. Not many downward dogs here...just calm and steady stretching and lengthening - increasing your flexibility and focus. You'll leave feeling refreshed and renewed.
Guided Self-Practice

Adamantine™ Yoga taught as Guided Self Practice Guided Self Practice allows students to move through the Adamantine™ Yoga sequence at their own pace with modifications and adaptations that uniquely fit their experience level and ability. The teacher assists each student individually with physical adjustments and verbal instructions to allow for them to move deeper into the postures. This method of passing the teachings of yoga directly from the teacher to each individual student is a time honored tradition in the discipline of yoga and Guided Self Practice is a unique opportunity to delve into the practice in an authentic and empowering way. Guided Self Practice or "GSP" is not the typical group-led class most students encounter in modern yoga. All instruction is individualized with an Adamantine™ Yoga Teacher supervising each practitioner one-on-one, but with the support and community of a group setting. Guided Self Practice allows students to move through the Adamantine™ Yoga sequence at their own pace with modifications and adaptations that uniquely fit their experience level and ability. The teacher assists each student individually with physical adjustments and verbal instructions to allow for them to move deeper into the postures.

Yoga for Endurance Athletes
This is a mixed level class designed to bring balance to the ambitious. This Yoga class will be sequenced to focus on breath and flexibility to provide recovery for the repetitive intensity of training as a cyclist, runner, and Tri-athlete. Athletes will experience benefits that improve performance, lower risk of injury, and shorten recovery time while increasing body awareness, muscular connectivity and joint mobility. ~Only when you can be extremely pliable and soft, can you be extremely hard and strong. Zen Proverb ¬Monday at Noon: This class will be one hour leaving you energized to prepare for your week. Thursday 7-45-9: This full flow class will offer deeper recovery work : great post workout practice.
BARRE 85
Harmony Yoga & Wellness' signature class! Deniece teaches this challenging barre-based workout, which combines core work with Pilates, yoga, ballet and dance principles to stretch, tone, and lengthen muscles all in a heated room set at 85 degrees.
Hot Vinyasa

This is a cardio-intensive practice linking breath and movement in a free flowing sequence all while you detox. Experience is helpful, a towel is practically mandatory. Practice is typically accompanied by fun, up-beat music. Room Temp is HOT!

Belly Dance - All Levels
Move, shake, express yourself! This fun class trains the student to maintain a healthy dance posture while developing flexibility and learning how to move parts of the body which are often ignored in day-to-day living and more western dance forms. Basic technique of a core of moves is emphasized in each session and more advanced movement is taught to those who are ready.
Pre/Post Natal Yoga

Enjoy the journey toward motherhood with this unique yoga class. We will explore safe yoga postures for your changing shape along with breath and meditation techniques to bring awareness and relaxation to your body, your mind and your developing baby. Prenatal yoga will strengthen pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid digestion, and help you find more restful sleep. You will also learn pose modifications that you can take into other yoga classes. Celebrate this special time inyour life, meet new friends, and tap into the wisdom of your body with prenatal yoga.
